Search Function

I tried to find a post from the past few weeks. I entered my user name and got very few relevant hits. These hits included those from other Hostboard forums that did not contain my User Name.

I could see that recent relevant posts were missing from the data-base finds. It was no better using advanced search.

Is the data-base search supposed to be working properly?

I found what I wanted by scrolling through the AUB main page listing for what I thought to be likely posts and then laboriously looking through the threads. It took a long time and this was only covering recent postings. Very hit and miss.

Hmm, I've used the advanced search several times ~recently and it returned way more than I remembered on each subject, though once I did get a bunch of posts from other forums due to too general a search, so best I guess to use the advanced search feature.

GM, I did an advanced search, again, and it worked fine. I must have previously missed something in search criteria.
